چکیده
Agriculture plays a crucial role in nation's economy by significantly contributing to its Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Improved methods of farming not only benefit farmers lowering their workload but also boost crop yields. Identifying the optimal soil for each is essential producing harvests highest quality and quantity. Precision agriculture uses Internet Things (IoT) technology ensure most efficient use available resources increase yields reduce operational costs. It reduces instances failure aids averting catastrophic losses. Variations temperature moisture have significant influence on yield. The Soil Moisture Sensors calculate soil's total volumetric water content. Using BMP280 absolute barometric pressure sensor, it possible get accurate air measurements. In paper, primary purpose precision usage determine characteristics production Barely, Maize Sugarcane crops.

Soil macronutrient sensing for precision agriculture.
Accurate measurements of soil macronutrients (i.e., nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) are needed for efficient agricultural production, including site-specific crop management (SSCM), where fertilizer nutrient application rates are adjusted spatially based on local requirements. Rapid, non-destructive quantification of soil properties, including nutrient levels, has been possible with optica...
متن کاملContext Aware Wireless Sensor Network Suitable for Precision Agriculture
Using the Wireless Sensor Networks WSNs in a wide variety of applications is currently considered one of the most challenging solutions. For instance, this technology has evolved the agriculture field, with the precision agriculture challenge. In fact, the cost of sensors and communication infrastructure continuously trend down as long as the technological advances. So, more growers dare to imp...
متن کاملSoil Degradation under Sugarcane Cultivation in Northern Kwazulu-natal
In many crop producing areas of the world there are reports of yield decline and loss of productive potential in soils. Little is known about the long term effects of sugarcane monocropping on changes in physical, chemical and biological properties of soils. The aim of this study was to quantify the physical and chemical condition of soils under sugarcane production in northern Kwazulu-Natal, a...

This study was conducted to explore an accurate site identification technique using a geographic information system (GIS) and geo-temperature (gT) for locating suitable sites for growing cultivated mountain ginseng (CMG; Panax ginseng), which is highly sensitive to the environmental conditions in which it grows. The study site was Jinan-gun, South Korea. The spatial resolution for geographic da...
متن کاملOn-the-go soil sensors for precision agriculture
The basic objectives of site-specific management of agricultural inputs are to increase profitability of crop production, improve product quality, and protect the environment. Information about the variability of different soil attributes within a field is essential for the decision-making process. The inability to obtain soil characteristics rapidly and inexpensively remains one of the biggest...
